General Collaborative Space Policy
(adopted 22 July 2019)At Fresno Ideaworks we're committed to providing an inclusive and supportive space for all our members and guests. We believe all members and guests should be free from intimidation or harassment resulting from prejudice or discrimination on the grounds of age, disability, marital or maternity/paternity status, ethnic identity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, gender identity, trans-gender status, socio-economic status, or ideology or culture or any other form of distinction or self-identity.
Our Fresno Ideaworks/Ideaworks Maker Spaces Collaborative Space Policy;
1) supports our mission “to bring Maker culture to the Central Valley by sharing knowledge and resources with the people and organizations of our community”
2) ensures every Fresno Ideaworks space or event is a collaborative space and a safe space, and
3) defines what we expect of our members and all those occupying our spaces or attending Fresno Ideaworks events.
Social Media Member Usage Policy

The Ideaworks Members page on Facebook is a forum for our members to ask questions and share information about their projects; about Ideaworks activity, shop spaces, and events; and to share general interest items about making, creativity, related local events, and the Maker Movement in general.The Ideaworks Members Facebook page is a collaborative space and a safe space for our members and guests as defined in our Collaborative Space Policy. Therefore, please refrain from personal criticism, sexual or political innuendo, or overt religious proselytizing. Having opinions is allowed; incivility, unkindness, and inappropriateness will be judged on a case by case basis by the moderators and posts may be removed in the interest of preserving the greater community.
